At Medlen & Carroll, LLP we take the time to listen to our clients and to understand the competitive environment in which they operate. We explain the options as well as the risks. We offer sound, professional advice so that our clients can make the choices best suited to their specific needs.

Expertise
Our attorneys practice intellectual property law exclusively. Most have advanced technical degrees and/or significant industrial experience. This combination of legal and technical expertise allows us to keep abreast of this rapidly changing area of law and to offer our clients the most effective representation in intellectual property acquisition, licensing and litigation.

Offices
Medlen & Carroll, LLP has four offices from which to serve you: one on the West Coast, one in the Southwest, one in the Midwest and two on the East Coast. The geographical distribution of our offices assures timely, convenient service and prompt attention to client inquiries. Through our network of international associates, we are also able to represent our clients' intellectual property matters throughout the world.

Fees
We know that the cost of legal services is a major concern to our clients. To ensure cost-effective service, we assign routine tasks to our experienced staff of paralegals, technical consultants, and law clerks. To keep fees down, we have adopted a competitive fixed-fee schedule for these tasks. For other types of projects, we provide, on request, "not-to-exceed" estimates. Our goal is to make the cost of intellectual property legal services predictable and affordable.
